North Beach Elementary Leadership Announcement

Dear North Beach Families and Staff, 

I am pleased to announce that Mr. Aron Bodwitch has been selected as the new principal for North Beach Elementary School!

Mr. Bodwitch currently serves in the role of assistant principal at Broadview-Thomson K-8 and was selected through a formal process with the participation of staff and families.

Mr. Bodwitch earned his Master of Teaching degree at the University of Washington, and a Master of Education in School Leadership from Columbia University. Prior to becoming a school leader, he worked as an instructional coach, a head teacher, and elementary school teacher.

Mr. Bodwitch is committed to building on the strong foundation Principal Kristine McLane and the North Beach staff have created. He is looking forward to working with North Beach students, staff, families and community members to make a difference for each student, every day.

Mr. Bodwitch’s official start date will be July 1.

I want to extend my gratitude to Principal McLane for her leadership as principal at North Beach for the past eight years.
