    Elementary and Middle School Boundary Changes

    The attendance area boundaries for Catharine Blaine K-8 and Lawton Elementary will change in fall 2019 to create an attendance area for Magnolia Elementary Boundaries.

    A change to the Maple Elementary School attendance area boundary change implementation schedule was discussed and will not be implemented. There is a change to these boundaries scheduled for 2020-21. Community engagement will begin in the spring. Please see the Southeast Elementary School Boundaries page for more information.

    A change to the attendance areas for Robert Eagle Staff Middle School and Jane Addams Middle School is being considered by the School Board. This change would assign all students attending Olympic Hills Elementary to Jane Addams for middle school beginning in fall 2019. Learn more.

    Next Steps

    Thursday, Dec. 6: School Board Operations Committee meeting. Recommendations for Magnolia Elementary boundaries and changing the boundaries for Robert Eagle Staff and Jane Addams middle schools will be discussed.

    Wednesday, Dec. 19: School Board meeting. Expected date for introduction of Magnolia Elementary boundaries and change to Eagle Staff/Addams boundaries.

    Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019: School Board meeting. Expected date for Board vote on Magnolia  boundaries and changes to Eagle Staff/Addams boundaries.

    High School Boundary Changes

    There will be high school boundary changes implemented in 2019-20. These changes impact Ballard High School, Ingraham High School and Roosevelt High School and are related to the opening of Lincoln High School in fall 2019.
