    A time for champions

ESSA is the first major overhaul of our national education law since 2001. Because ESSA transfers significant authority from the federal government to states, educators need to become strong advocates. As champions of the profession, we need to help colleagues and the community realize the benefits that PE and health education provide for the social, emotional, and academic development of our students. Healthy Students Learn Better – This is an exciting time!
